Higher stages have a more complicated terrain with several obstacles grouped together, steep hills, and sharp twists. In order to dodge some obstacles, the player might also need to execute Snow Rider 3D tricks or have fast reflexes. For example, a player may have to dodge a big rock at the last second or slide beneath a low-hanging branch. The game frequently puts players in situations where they must use both time and reflexes, which significantly increases the challenge.
